“Zentral gelegenes Hotel, nicht ganz neu”
The hotel sits in the heart of Gumpoldskirchen, with many restaurants and Heurige within walking distance. The room’s furnishings feel mismatched and dated, as if being renovated piece by piece over the years. A hole near the door corner was patched in an unprofessional way. The bathroom fan is quite loud. For the price, the amenities are inadequate, and there’s no free water or coffee machine. The parking situation annoyed us: it wasn’t a problem that we had to walk a few steps, but we were told everything on the street was free. The next day we received a €25 fine (we had specifically mentioned where we were parked, and the reception confirmed it was free).
