I appreciated the clean towels and decent blanket, yet the water smelled bad—probably from Jakarta’s underground supply—there was no mirror in the room or bathroom, and the TV didn’t work, though my stay was brief.

Nothing positive; it was just a single room without kitchenware, not an apartment, and we had to change rooms upon arrival because the room was infested, the sheet and blanket were stained, and the bathroom… R.M

I was looking for a place close to Siloam Semanggi, but the entrance was a narrow, dark alley. The yellow pillow cover smelled like cigarette smoke, as if it hadn’t been changed. The tap water was brown. The bathroom light was off and refused to be replaced. On the floor I found cigarette butts, even though I had booked a non‑smoking room. I stayed for three nights but only used it for one night. The room should have been cleaned before the next guest arrived.
