“Overall it was very good value and you can’t get a better location if your coming to the Lake District”

The location was very nice and the staff were professional, but there was no parking on the premises.

The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was good, rooms were clean, and the location was excellent—nothing to complain about.

The staff were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, my room was clean and comfortable, and the evening meals were lovely; I even got a packed lunch with a huge bit of flapjack. The only downside was the shower light cutting off on a short timer, so I had to wave my arms to turn it back on, which was a bit disconcerting—maybe I just linger too long in the shower.

The location was beautiful, but Wi‑Fi didn’t work in our bedroom even though it worked in the communal areas.
