The location is good and feels safe, but the bedding is too old, the room wasn’t clean, the towel was wet, the mattress made noise, and it wasn’t comfortable.

This hotel had its ups and downs. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. They even offered to help me with my bags when I checked in late. The room itself was small but spotless, and the bed was comfy. The real letdown, though, was the bathroom - it was tiny and the shower was a bit of a squeeze. Still, for the price, it was a decent value, and I'd stay here again if I needed to be in the area.

I was really looking forward to staying here, but things took a turn for the worse when the owner promised to refund my money after I cancelled my booking. Unfortunately, they completely ignored me and never paid me back. To make matters worse, they had hidden fees that weren't clearly advertised on the app, like a R100 booking fee for check-in before 5 pm. It was a pretty deceptive practice, and I lost potential clients and reputation because of it.
