Dinner at the restaurant was very good, though the service was slow and sometimes unfriendly. The rooms were very basic and could use an update, and breakfast was limited.

The small cottage rooms 200m from the main hotel are interesting. They function well in some respects, but they weren’t as well kept as I’d expect; everything feels a bit worn. I’d warn that the shower/bath setup is unsafe for anyone over 75 years old! The restaurant 109 below the hotel is excellent. The place is a bit dirty in some areas, and the shower/bath is very cramped, making it hard to move safely in and out. Breakfast is light.

The location and the attached restaurant are good for a stopover, but the chateau needs a renovation.

Die alte Atmosphäre, die Lage. Die Zimmer in der Orangerie sind echt heruntergekommen. Das Bett war mit einem der Hygiene dienenden Plastiktuch bezogen. Das ist unangenehm und schweißtreibend
