The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the surroundings clean, and the food and service good. The hotel is only 3 stars, yet it feels like gold in this spot in Portugal, and you can always find something to complain about.

The location is privileged, and even though I didn’t use the pool, being right across from the Guadiana makes you want to jump in. The service is friendly and attentive, but a bit too relaxed; we asked for a double bed but were given a room with two single beds, and combined with the hard mattress, it fell far short of a good night's sleep. The building’s overall upkeep shows it needs maintenance, with peeling paint in spots throughout the room and bathroom.
