“Disappointing.”
The property is beautiful and well‑situated, but it feels run down. The bed and bedding were great. The staff were almost nonexistent and, when they were present, they were not courteous—no eye contact, no friendly greetings, and it felt like we were a nuisance. Our room was on the fourth floor, requiring a walk up; we could manage with broken toes, but guests should be warned beforehand. We had stayed here before and it was nothing like this. The breakfast this time consisted of stale bagels and Entemmans Danish, which was very disappointing for the price.
