“A lovely and peaceful Karoo farm stay with warm hospitality, great food and beautiful surroundings.”

We truly enjoyed our time at Ganora Guest Farm. It’s a charming working farm just outside Nieu-Bethesda, offering a real taste of Karoo farm life. The farm is peaceful, beautifully situated, and the night sky and stars were spectacular. Hester was a wonderful host, and along with her staff, they made us feel very welcome and took great care of us. We had a great dinner on the farm and a very good breakfast the next morning. For a family coming from the city, it was a nice and different experience. We had great food, met friendly people, and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the peace and quiet of the Karoo. We would definitely stay again. There was nothing we didn’t like; everything was as expected for a stay on a working Karoo farm, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

What a wonderful and peaceful stay! This beautiful sheep farm is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The hosts were incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming, always happy to answer any questions and share helpful information about the farm and surrounding area. The rooms were lovely, with comfortable, warm beds and spotless, fresh bedding that made us feel right at home. The delicious home-cooked food and genuine hospitality made our stay even more special. We especially enjoyed the clearly marked hiking trails, which led us to fascinating Bushman rock art and provided interesting historical information along the way. The scenery was breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere made it an unforgettable experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this farm to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, warm hospitality, and a chance to experience the beauty and history of the area. No complaints

“Mooie, rustige locatie”

The hostess was extremely friendly and made us feel at ease straight away, and it was nice to share a dinner with other guests and swap stories; there are also some rotsschilderingen nearby that you can see with a guide. We only stayed one night while in transit, and I think the place works better for at least two nights if you want to relax and go on nice walks, but overall it was a pleasant stay.
