The room was fine, but someone knocked on the door early in the morning to ask us to open the gate, which was odd; we reported it to management but received no reply, and the price feels steep for what’s on offer.

The location was convenient for all exits, yet the pillows were uncomfortable, breakfast was weak, and the facilities looked a bit shabby compared to the Instagram and Booking photos.

Breakfast was plentiful and high‑quality, the hotel’s dinner restaurant was decent, but the attached wine‑cellar restaurant was excellent; the room and bathroom were spacious with proper furnishings, and the views were beautiful. Still, another chair and extra gear such as a console with cups and glasses, an electric jug, tea, and coffee would help; the towels were in terrible condition for the establishment’s category, and a rug to wipe shoes would be welcome in this rural setting.

The place is very peaceful and the staff are friendly; Milena answered all our wine questions superbly, and Braian and the rest of the team were equally kind. The breakfast and dinner were exquisite, but I would return.
