The bed was comfortable, but the room was small and lacked amenities; shared facilities were just outside the room, and reaching the room required climbing two flights of stairs.

The room matched the description, everything was spotless and well presented, and the complimentary water bottles and mini chocolates were a nice touch; all staff were friendly and helpful, and the pub was fun with excellent meals at the bistro, but a constant banging noise throughout the night—something loose in the building—ruined what could have been a truly pleasant stay.
