I think this place is solid; I'd definitely book it again.

“Very bad staff actitude”

The hotel was clean, but the staff service was lacking, especially the girl with red hair at the reception. They also charged a deposit at check‑in that they never returned, and they add an illegal fee to every breakfast.

“Large room with comfortable beds, good value”

The room was huge, with air conditioning, two large queen beds, a big TV, a fridge, and an en‑suite bathroom. It sits right in downtown, just a short ride from Penn Station. We also used the gym, and Kim at the front desk was very sweet and welcoming. We only asked for extra coffee pods at the front desk, but otherwise there were no major complaints. I’d stay again if I’m in Baltimore.

“Great staff”

The staff were great, but the vents in the rooms made noise even when the fan/ac was off, which made it hard to sleep. One night a party was held in the room above mine and it was organized by the hotel.

“Great location but not good value for money.”

This was a good pick for the Springboks vs All Blacks match. The location is close to M&T Bank Stadium, Walters Art Gallery, the George Washington monument, and several beautiful churches. There are interesting little restaurants within walking distance—Thai, Italian, and French. The bar serves great cocktails. Parking is across the street, so you don’t need valet parking. I can get to I‑95 easily, and the reception staff were friendly. The hotel restaurant food is poor value for money, tasteless, and best avoided. With one exception the waiters were friendly but incompetent. Overall, this hotel is not good value for money because it’s expensive for what it offers.
