We couldn’t get into the property or stay there even though our reservation was confirmed. The property was closed when we arrived on September 12, 2025, so we had to scramble for another place at the last minute. It was extremely inconvenient that they were still taking bookings while the place seemed shut.

The location was fine. I give it a 1 because that’s the minimum. 1. We were robbed of 5,000 pesos (about 80 euros); we always left our wallet with the money in the room, so it couldn’t have been elsewhere. 2. The floor was filthy with stains and hadn’t been cleaned for three days; the bathroom wasn’t clean either, though it looked like it had been cleaned. There was no space to dry toilet towels. 3. No reception or welcome. 4. No common areas. 5. We were unlucky and ended up with very disrespectful roommates who turned on lights at 3 a.m. after a night out and didn’t stop talking loudly. Only after five requests to keep it down did they finally understand what respect meant. 6. There was no light in our cabins. The only good thing was that it was cheap, if you ignore the 80 euros that were stolen.

It’s a basic hostel, so don’t expect too much.

The place sits in a great spot and the host is fairly helpful, plus they throw in free water and coffee. The downside is that only one of the two showers shares a toilet and sink, so if someone is showering you might have to wait; the other shower has no light, so it’s dark and you can only use the lit one.

The location is good and the price is reasonable, with self‑service water and coffee available. However, the room is noisy and cramped, and there’s just one shared toilet for everyone and only two showers.
