The bed was very comfortable, the spot right next to the train station is handy for heading to Pompeii, the breakfast is in a nearby bar where the owner is charming, the small fridge. The neighborhood is really insecure, hard to find a restaurant nearby, you have to pay to use the elevator, the room is dark, there are mold spots in the shower and a huge noise from the sewage pump whenever water is used. The bed linens are unsuitable and slip so much that you have to re‑tuck them constantly, no TV. No staff visible, no housekeeping during the week, the bed never cleaned. My last stay at a B&B.

The location was ideal. The host was helpful and available. Paying for the elevator – which wasn’t mentioned – caught us off guard. I’d prefer more outdoor access. The only window was too high to look out of, and all I could see was the roof when I managed to look. We didn’t spend much time in the room, so it wasn’t a deal‑breaker.

When we arrived in the neighborhood we had some doubts, but it turned out to be very central for walking around Naples, using the metro to get around and even taking the train to Pompeii and the Bay of Naples. Contact via WhatsApp was simple and easy and the owner was very accommodating to drop off our bags early and let us explore freely. The room was clean and the bed ultra‑soft and firm, fantastic comfort after long walking hours. The facilities are very precarious: paid elevator, shower with a very high step, low pressure and pipe noises that vibrate the walls, toilet with a high flush and a leaking sewage pump… the same for the noisy plumbing. The mini fridge is very handy but there’s no coffee/tea station to relax in the room after a long day of sightseeing. The room view is atypical but exactly the city view. Despite excellent double glazing, city noise is audible.
