Hyatt Place Indianapolis Downtown

The location was great, the rooms were spotless, breakfast was tasty, and the staff were welcoming, but I had to check out earlier than planned.

“I was excited to stay here but totally let down.”

I enjoyed the tasty food from Pivot Bar, ordered to my room and delivered quickly, and the proximity to the arena was fantastic, but the window view was disappointing, the room didn’t match the website photos, felt cramped and outdated, the check‑in wait was far too long, the valet cost $62 instead of the quoted $58, it took 20 minutes to retrieve my car, and a strange structural noise kept me awake all night.

“Our stay was a let down and a disappointment.”

The fitness center was well equipped and the location was convenient, yet everything was dirty and worn, the mall sofas were visibly soiled, the staff were rude and unhelpful, calling the front desk was useless as they didn’t answer, it was faster to go down and speak to them directly though they still seemed annoyed, the ice machine on our floor broke and we heard its alarm and the staff vacuuming water several times at night, breakfast had no spoons or napkins and when we asked for them we were met with an attitude, and the TV entertainment options were abysmal.
