The hotel is beautiful and the room was very good, and the spa facilities are excellent, but the food was of poor quality with a limited range of choices.

“A very good hotel for a slightly more special stay”

We were welcomed warmly at reception, the large rooms offered a pleasant view, the breakfast was very good, and the location is great for the Belfast City airport. However, the pre‑arrival phone call came at an inconvenient time and asked many questions that weren’t helpful then, and the rooms were hard to manage the temperature—two systems seemed to be one for the bathroom and one for the bedroom, but neither actually changed anything.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially the young lady at check‑in who was kind, warm, and pleasant, and the doormen greeted us with smiles. Everyone at the Cultra Inn worked hard, was kind, and helpful. The spa was clean, quiet, and relaxing. However, the carpet had marks and stains and the room was dusty. We asked for turndown service after dinner but it never arrived, which was disappointing. The breakfast worker seemed unfriendly, chatting with another guest while we gave our room number, which felt rude. The dinner food at the hotel was low quality, so I’d reserve the fine‑dining restaurant next time.
