The host was very friendly and spoke English using a mobile translator; the place sits in a very quiet spot close to Lille, the room and bathroom are spacious, the garden is huge, and everything is perfectly clean, though the water faucet could use some maintenance.

The house is surrounded by a huge garden. The family only speaks French, but they use a four‑language automatic translator to meet our needs. The area is off the beaten path, which makes it truly peaceful. The French‑style sweet breakfast is served on a common table, encouraging interaction with other guests. The cleaning is excellent and the bathroom is very large; we were truly satisfied.

The location is lovely in a quiet countryside setting, the host is welcoming and the room is good. It’s very close to Lille and only 25 minutes from Ypres, and there was nothing to complain about.
