“Great option to see wildlife and relax in the rainforest”

The property was beautiful, surrounded by rainforest, abundant wildlife, and tasty meals. However, there were some critters in the rooms, including ants and termites, but the staff handled it once I mentioned it. There was no internet in the rooms, so I had to go to the dining area to get online.

Everything was excellent. I appreciated having access to chilled water to refill bottles anytime, hot water for tea and coffee, and biscuits for early risers at the dining hall. The honesty system at the well‑stocked bar was great. The pool was lovely, and the birding trails were well maintained. The staff rearranged a night walk with other guests to accommodate us, which I really enjoyed; Kevin was a fantastic guide, ensuring everyone had a good view of the wildlife. The room was comfortable, set in the rainforest, with a great shower, an outdoor area, and a fan to keep the interior cool. The wildlife was amazing, especially the birds in the well‑maintained gardens. Baird's Trogon nested next to the reception, and there were many other species—more time would have let me appreciate them all. It was a quiet, peaceful place with respectful guests, and all meals were enjoyed and catered well for us vegetarians.

“Perfect”

I had a wonderful stay here, with the location being a standout feature - the cabins were thoughtfully laid out to provide a good amount of privacy and take in the beautiful surroundings. The bird life was amazing, and the staff were lovely, particularly Fernando, our exceptional guide. Although it was the priciest part of my trip, the unique setting made it well worth it, even with the other guests being mainly on group tours. Overall, I was really happy with my stay.

“Die Natur vor der Haustür”

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this lodge, which boasts a fantastic location right in the heart of the rainforest, teeming with wildlife. The rooms are quite spacious, but the lack of glass windows means you can hear your neighbors, although this also allows you to immerse yourself in the sounds of the rainforest. The staff were incredibly helpful, and I even got to meet the owners, who built this remarkable place.
