Casa Isabel - La Almona Chica

For us, the location was excellent, surrounded by views of olive groves and cliffs. Since we were the only ones in the houses, it was quiet and calm, even though the houses face the road. The pool was lovely on sunny days. The kitchen was well equipped, including an electric citrus press that let us enjoy fresh orange juice every day. The olive oil from the host’s own harvest was presented on the dining table; it was top‑class and truly flavorful. The hosts were the sweetest, offering great advice on shopping options and more.

Wonderful little house, perfect spot, great deck chairs. Nice pool. 400 meters from the bus stop to the gorge. Easy for cyclists, just a short detour off the route. The host was fantastic, even washed our clothes for a few euros.

“The place to stay!!!”

I stayed for a climbing trip, so the location was perfect for that and for hiking too. The area is gorgeous even if you’re not climbing. My casita was spacious and had everything I needed, including a lovely cat you could choose to adore or not. Parking was right outside my door. The view was lovely and the outdoor sitting area very pretty. I was very happy to be able to control the heat with propane heating. The casita has a genuine Spanish feel to it, with tile floors and colorful doors. My hosts, Ela and Dave, were excellent, friendly, helpful and answered every question and need. They even tried to help me with my delayed luggage. Ela gave us a delightful olive oil tasting tutorial. I was just beginning to feel fully “Spanish” when my time was up. I would definitely stay here again. Mil gracias!!!
