A solid alternative to a hotel. The room was roomy and comfy, and the spot is ideal—close to the metro, buses, or a quick walk to the main sights.

Great location, clean, very comfy bed and pillows, and the front desk staff were very friendly—overall everything was good. We’d definitely stay again. The only downside is that the windows can’t open even a little; otherwise, everything’s great as I mentioned.

The area is very quiet yet still central, only a 5‑minute walk to the Tube at Marble Arch and Oxford Street, and there are plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby. Over five days I had breakfast at five different cafés, all within walking distance. The recently renovated rooms are spacious enough. The townhouse isn’t a B&B; it offers a small coffee bar with a mini pastry per room for those in a hurry, but there’s no breakfast. The location itself is fine, as noted earlier.
