It’s very cozy and free from crowd. Very near to beach and fee cozy cafés. The manager here Mr Stanley and his team were very very welcoming and catered us top notch personalised hospitality. Loved it!. Nothing, loved everything about the property

We booked two rooms at Trattorias Tranquil, Varkala after careful research because the pool and breakfast were essential for our infant and toddler. On arrival, when we called to inform them of a late check‑in, they said a sudden plumbing issue meant they couldn’t accommodate us and instead sent us to a different, clearly inferior property nearby that had neither a pool nor breakfast—exactly the opposite of what we’d booked. The manager at Trattorias Tranquil promised we could use their pool and breakfast, and while we were allowed to use the pool, breakfast never arrived, which felt misleading and unprofessional. The room we received was very basic, just an AC, fan, and bed, with no hot water. The caretaker did try to help by providing hot water in buckets in the morning, but that’s not what you expect from a paid stay. The alternate room was about 200 meters away, making it exhausting and highly inconvenient to keep going back and forth with small kids just to use the pool. Overall, this was a deeply disappointing, frustrating, and stressful experience, especially when traveling with young children and expecting a comfortable, hassle‑free stay. The situation was poorly handled, and the promises made were not honored. I would not recommend this place, particularly for families with children.

The rooms were spacious, well-equipped and comfortable, and the beach was close by.

The rooms were well furnished and spacious, the pool was well maintained, and we had a great stay with my kids; breakfast was good, and Manager Mr. Stanley was very helpful and treated us like family.
