“Very calm, authentic and in nature”
I was surrounded by jungle vibes, feeling like I stayed inside a forest, which was fantastic; I had the entire lodge to myself and slept soundly, thanks to Elise, the manager, who was incredibly kind. The place is very tranquil and authentic, and its location is excellent—just a short distance from Santa Teresa without the town’s chaos. The beaches at Malpaìs are gorgeous and far less crowded. I did feel a bit isolated, so if you’re looking to meet people it might not be ideal, but it’s perfect for disconnecting.

The secluded location was peaceful, yet just a short stroll from the town center, and the grounds were home to a stunning pool where we spotted howler monkeys, iguanas, and other wildlife.

Our stay was made all the more enjoyable by the owner, Elise, who went above and beyond to address any issues that arose. The property itself was spotless, with a lovely pool and plenty of outdoor space to relax. However, I did notice that the rooms could benefit from a bit more soundproofing, and the air conditioning wasn't always the most efficient.
Really lovely place to stay, 5 minute walk to the beach, nice and clean and very peaceful. The lady who owns it was so nice and made us feel super welcome. The pool was perfect and just outside our room, plus the whole place is surrounded by wildlife. N/A
