The reception by host Maria was warm and welcoming; she made us feel like guests in her home, which we experienced as well. Breakfast was generous with homemade pies, jam, etc. Maria provided us with a daily program of excursions in the Zagori area, letting us see magnificent nature, picturesque mountain villages, and many stone bridges. The Byzantine culture was remembered at many places. After the season, it can be a little challenging to find a restaurant nearby; tip: have your meal during the day while you go on excursions.

The rooms are clean in the morning and the traditional style is excellent. They have a very nice view in a calm and welcoming setting. The location is such that you can visit all the Zagori villages. And Mrs. Maria is the best host I have met on all these trips I have taken.

Fantastic stay at Roptro !!! Maria and Dimitris are amazing hosts, we really felt as if we were at home !!! Everything was perfect, the room, the breakfast, the location was very convenient, and of course the visit recommendations provided by Maria, she knows the best places in the area and was extremely helpful. I would recommend this guesthouse 200%
