The room was a bit small, but it worked well for two nights. The host was very helpful, the breakfast was great, and the location is good—just a 10‑minute walk to the city centre. We liked it, though the internet was a bit slow.

Fraser is a truly great and attentive host! We felt welcome immediately and enjoyed the stay. We were always given excellent tips for sights and restaurants; Fraser is very knowledgeable and helpful. The house is well furnished and the garden is lovingly maintained. Parking on the property was very convenient. The rooms are beautiful and spotless—every detail is cared for. We were impressed by how lovingly the Ballifeary House is run. Breakfast was perfect. We always filled out the note for breakfast selection in the evening, choosing hot drinks, water/sodas, pre‑breakfast items, yogurt, and breakfast. The breakfast was varied and lovingly prepared—everything tasted fresh and good! Fraser also makes the best porridge we’ve ever had! :) We highly recommend the Ballifeary House and will definitely return. Nothing was lacking—our stay was perfect!
