Mario greeted us at the front door with a big smile when we arrived, and he’s an excellent host. Breakfast is usually served, but on our last morning we were given coffee and croissants instead. The room could have used a small chair, and there was no breakfast that day.

The owner is very professional and kind, and the directions he gave about the stay were clear and concise. I have nothing bad to say about the property; it met every expectation I had.

No meals were served, but the owner is a warm and friendly gentleman who is very thoughtful and helpful. The unit was upstairs, which was difficult for me personally because of a leg injury, and all three units are upstairs and lack some services that most hotels or motels offer—like a small fridge, a TV, a microwave, etc. That didn’t bother us, but I think it would be good policy to reveal all that information in the write‑up.

The setting is beautiful and the decor lovely; the host was gracious, friendly, and attentive, and the smart security setting was perfect. Everything needed was provided, and when we arrived to check in there were actually three deer eating in the side yard—so serene! Nothing negative.

The host is an excellent business person who knows hospitality, and I stay at Home Sweet Home when in Lynchburg because there’s no place that matches the accommodations and price. None of the negatives; I just would have liked to stay longer, but my schedule didn’t allow it.
