The location in Spandau was very nice and central, and the beer garden was pleasant. However, the telephone contact was unfriendly and added a 35,- Euro surcharge to allow us to enter the room half an hour earlier. The receptionist said, “You should have booked directly with us, not over booking… then you would have saved 35,- Euro.” We had to lie in the middle of the double bed or we would slip because of the mattress type. The price of almost 180,- Euro for a night was definitely too high for the equipment and the location, which is far from Berlin.

The whole charm of the brew house was palpable, but the mattresses were too soft and too mobile. Without an elevator, the upper floors were no longer reachable for us—BAD.
