A private balcony, patio, terrace and an indoor pool are part of the Three‑Bedroom House, and the room includes air‑conditioning, a coffee machine and free Wi‑Fi. The space sleeps six guests, with a crib available, and provides a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, oven, microwave, stovetop, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing facilities. One private bathroom contains a hairdryer. Entertainment options include a children’s high chair, books, DVDs or music for children, cable channels and a fireplace.

The location was great for us, with lovely walks in the cork forests right from the door, plenty of birds and wildlife, and convenient for visiting other places. I hope this is taken as constructive feedback because we had a nice week here, but this place could be so much better with a few tweaks. As others have said, the lack of doors isn’t good; if there were 4 or 6 of you staying, would you really want to hear other people snoring or going to the toilet at night? The decoration is lovely, but the lighting was so dim we couldn’t even read in bed. The outside area, where you’ll spend most of your time in summer, has no comfortable or covered seating. The owner should spend a week staying in the place to see a few of the issues.
A wonderful house in a perfect spot, fully equipped with nothing missing; the pool is a real delight and the views of the Marvao castle add to the peaceful, tranquil setting. We spent a few days there and want to return soon. The staircase to the upper room is a bit awkward, especially when descending, but moving slowly fixes it.

Our host was super friendly and helpful, always available to answer any questions or provide assistance. The only minor drawbacks were the steep staircase to the mezzanine and the lack of a small table in the living room for eating or having a drink.
