Comfortable bed, good linen and towels. The bathroom is large, with a bath and a separate power shower. The kitchen area lacks a countertop, which has been taken up by a large coffee and kettle tray. The cupboards only reach the ceiling, so reaching glasses and pots is difficult.

The staff are welcoming and the rooms are spacious and clean. The toilet door couldn’t be closed.

I was only a short walk from the train station, but the building looked worn out and clearly needed a facelift. The suite was only superficially cleaned and felt a bit unhygienic; the shower was clogged on arrival and had to be fixed before it worked. Towels, sheets and blankets were threadbare, and the kitchenette was tiny with just enough utensils to make a sandwich. The dishes were chipped (see photo) and the building’s safety felt questionable—luggage could be stored but wasn’t monitored. I can’t recommend it.

I loved how close it was to the train station yet far enough to feel residential. It was a very comfortable stay, just too short. I’d definitely come back.
