Large beautiful room with every comfort including a large fridge. Great for the price. Mario the owner is wonderful and very helpful. He loves Ginosa and can recommend and help book any restaurant for you. The breakfast was superb. There are some dogs nearby that barked occasionally at night. This is out of the owner’s control

Mario is a crack. He’s patient and helps with everything you need; we loved how he explained the history and the reason for our accommodation when we arrived. The place is quiet but minutes from everything. The room is a historic treasure of the town, all very well kept. P.S. the hand soap and gin‑water bath gel are wonderful.

I liked the tranquility of the place, the surrounding peace, and the meticulous care of the accommodations at MELOGRANO and MALVA, where we breathed the tradition of Puglia amid ancient ancestral tools. The enjoyable terrace of the MELOGRANO apartment let us have breakfast with the family and take photos from the balcony overlooking the endless ravine of the village "IL CASALE". I appreciated the visit to the Matrice Church with Mr. Carmelo, a wealth of humanity and humility; the walk from the dispersed hotel to the church was pleasant. The village is nicely lit at night, and meeting local people enriched the stay. Everything was very beautiful and well cared for by Mr. Mario, who was extremely kind and attentive throughout Ferragosto.

The owners, Mr. Antonella and Mr. Mario, were cordial and very kind. Excellent welcome and presentation of the place and the facility. Ginosa is a small Matera still to be appreciated. Great tips for living and enjoying the area. Maximum availability for dinner reservations at excellent venues and dedicated tours of Matera. Breakfasts feature fresh, local products. The structure is very beautiful, well cared for in detail and cleanliness.

Staying in a gorgeous cave was unforgettable, especially with the cave‑side jacuzzi and other options, everything was kept tidy, a fridge was handy in the heat, the linens were fresh, the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast featured local‑sourced products; just a few steps out you’re walking through the ravine and can admire a tiny, pre‑tourism version of Matera, although the external courtyard of the room was blocked by a high wall, which cuts the airflow but does give privacy for a quiet drink.
