“Petit hôtel sympa 😊”
A cozy, secure little hotel. The room was small but functional and well equipped. Fabienne went above and beyond for guests. The building itself has nothing special, but being in the city centre, it’s frustrating that the young people outside don’t respect those of us who want to sleep…
“C'était un agréable week-end sur la route de nos vacances.”
Fabienne gave us a warm welcome, the hotel is well‑situated, and there’s a free street parking spot. The room was spotless, comfortable, and came with a coffee maker, kettle, microwave, mini fridge, and air‑conditioning. Dinner at the Thai restaurant on the ground floor was superb and the staff were charming. Breakfast was plentiful; we could pick our preferences and the time that suited us, and it was delivered to the room in a pretty wicker basket! It was a weekend, the city buzzed with a festival on the church square and plenty of shops and eateries. We also enjoyed nice walks or bike rides along the canal.
“Comfortable and welcoming”
The hotel, run by a private family, was beautifully renovated. The walk‑in shower and air‑conditioning made the room comfortable, and the bed was very cozy. Breakfast was brought to the room in a picnic basket. The owner was very friendly. The spiral staircase to the rooms on floors 1 & 2, lacking a lift, was unsuitable for guests with mobility issues.
“J'ai u déjà mieux sans plus”
The property had a small plus: a coffee machine, an electric kettle for tea, and a pleasant person on the phone. It would have been nicer if someone were there to welcome you. The room was tiny and not great for parking; the price was high for a small room with no breakfast, and you’d have to pay an extra 11 € plus 3 € for an omelette + lard.
The coffee machine in the room was broken.
