The hosts were very friendly, and the nice terrace and winter garden made for a peaceful stay, so quiet that you can sleep with the windows open.

The room was exactly what we needed for a stopover, and the host was endlessly enthusiastic about making our stay optimal, evident from the welcome, the tour, and the excellent breakfast the next day; you can tell they enjoy what they do. There was ample space to park a trailer behind the car. We chose a slightly more remote spot away from busy highways, but on that road there was occasional truck traffic in the mornings.
