The room was cold.
I switched rooms after the first one and the new room felt cozy. None of the staff spoke Norwegian, and their English was very weak, making communication hard.
The garden is nice, the food is excellent, the chef is fun, and the location is good.

The atmosphere 😍 For a place! For a menu! For a warm welcome! Finally we had the chance to visit Haaheim Gaard! It exceeded all expectations! The menu, we chose a 5‑course wine menu that was simply wonderful ✨ Smoked eel, pan‑fried scallops, Jerusalem artichoke soup, venison loin, apple tart (the menu is on the side) And lastly, a very pleasant visit to the restaurant of Herr Hatlevik in person – who told some funny stories so we laughed a lot. He also waved us off the next day after we had a better and richer breakfast. We were also served freshly cooked bacon and fried eggs ☺️ The room, bed and bathroom were delicate, clean and neat. I truly recommend this place as a stop on your western Norway trip 🤩🤩🤩 No world‑class things!!
