The sheet had someone else’s hair on it, and a terrible sewage smell leaked from the bathroom drain.

The hotel’s proximity to our kids’ town was great, and the restaurant at King Phillip was fantastic! I did wish the cleaning person visited more often; out of 4 days we only saw them once, but I understand the weather was terrible that week, so it might not have been their fault.

The woman who checked me into the motel—though I had to go to the restaurant to do it—was wonderful! The place was disgusting; I posted a detailed Google review with many pictures to show how horrible it was. I almost left minutes after walking into my dirty room (dirt, mold, etc.) but was too tired to sleep in my Jeep. I stripped my bed and used the sheets/pillowcases from the other bed to create a usable bed, avoided stepping on the filthy stained carpet with my socks or bare feet, and didn’t shower because the bathroom floor and shower ceiling were moldy. I could go on, but my Google review covers it. As a long‑time military person who loves camping, I can sleep almost anywhere—NOT this place! I paid about $140 for this crap show. Stupid me!
