20 m² · 1 large double bed
“We were happy with our stay.”
The spot was peaceful and matched what a couple like us would want. The nook looked great and was perfect for one or two people, but not more. There was no clear description on how to enter or where to find the key, and it would have helped to have local leaflets or information about nearby attractions.
The lodge was well‑located, away from crowds and noise. Finding it was hard, though; clear signs would have made it easier for guests.
“Cabin in the country”
The cabin was clean, well presented, and cozy. The countryside views were beautiful, and the night sky was amazing with no light pollution, letting the stars shine perfectly. The downside was that it wasn’t as close to amenities as advertised.
“Great place to stay.”
It’s great, especially if you’re bringing your dog. The toilet and shower could use an update.
“It was okay”
Booking was simple, directions were accurate, the bed was comfortable, and the location was quiet. The drive to St Ives was a bit of a stretch. The shower water stayed tepid throughout our stay, the heating rails were set too low to dry anything even partially, and with the rain that was a hassle. Strip lights were too bright and stark. Given the great distance from any shop, it would have been nice to have a pat of butter and a bit more milk left.
