The hotel is well‑situated on the beach and the staff seemed helpful at first. I had an emergency and had to leave three nights early; the manager told me those three nights wouldn’t be charged. We stayed the first night in a beach cabin, and for the second night we were told to change rooms and go to the one above the restaurant, even though that wasn’t the room we had booked. We accepted, thinking they were honest about refunding us. That same night our room was cleaned, and the entire reservation was still charged!

The staff were friendly, but the room description was totally misleading; the room above the restaurant is only about 16 m², has no TV, and the nightly rate of 8500 Php in early April 2026 is outrageous. There’s essentially no beach and no swimming possible. The owners, who also run Balili Villas, eventually moved me into one of those nearby accommodations, which was still very expensive, uncomfortable, and poorly located compared to many other nearby lodgings.

The staff were extremely friendly, and the booking manager attentively handled guests’ requests, from arranging tours and booking tricycles to providing transfers to the port with luggage. However, the property is hard to locate because it isn’t signposted on the street. At night, the many stray dogs make it very noisy – a fence to keep them at a distance would be welcome. The price is on the higher side.
