Good location for business stays, great bed, decent hotel. No shampoo or body lotion in the bathroom, which was annoying at 6 am. No curtains.

“Very disappointing”

The spot was ideal for reaching Amersfoort or the highway and it was close to the town centre. The room looked very outdated and sad; the bathroom felt cheap, like in student housing. We had a patio outside the room, but it was overgrown with bushes and a mess—just a little trimming would have helped. The room wasn’t cleaned twice, so we had to go to the front desk for explanations and fresh towels. After complaining they said they were short‑staffed and had switched cleaning companies; cleaning became very sloppy and I had to tidy up myself. The bedsheets stayed unchanged for 9 nights, even with visible makeup stains. Front‑desk staff only greeted us if we made an effort; they never wished us a good day or asked how we were. At checkout they didn’t ask about our stay or wish us a safe trip home. The one breakfast we had at the hotel was okay, but items ran out quickly and weren’t restocked. The room’s stand‑alone air‑conditioner had a funny smell. Overall, very disappointing.

“Puur om een nachtje te slapen prima als je niet gehecht bent aan hygiëne en wat luxe”

The old farmhouse vibe is nice, the beds are good and there was ample parking. The hygiene was lacking; a lot of dust, visible wear and tear, the toilet was dirty, and there was no mini‑fridge in the room because the space had been sealed off.
