The lodge was in a quiet area, probably because it was a slow weekend with few visitors. It’s within walking distance of the mall and a petrol station, and the rooms are air‑conditioned. However, the tables were too high, making it impossible to work on a computer, and cockroaches were roaming around. I had to wash all my clothes and carry my bag before mixing them with the existing laundry.

The place was clean, the room spacious, hot water for the shower, a TV with internet, and I felt safe traveling alone as a woman through the province; check‑in was seamless. The bed felt like a stone and the shower doors didn’t open fully, but otherwise the water was hot and everything was in order.
