We had a side room, yet the street in front was audible. For a single night stay it was acceptable; the furniture was a bit dated but the beds were fine, and the breakfast was excellent. It’s an older house, but it’s good that it’s still operating.

The host was very friendly and the bed was good, but there was no air‑conditioning or fan in summer, no minibar even though the listing claimed one, and after eight there was no food in the village, so we had to eat sandwiches and chips in the room.
