The place sits in a good spot, but the price feels high for what it offers. It’s just rooms, no real lodge vibe. There’s no curtain in the room, no furniture to lean on, only a single central light. The bar next door plays loud live music until 23:00. When I arrived, the building was dark and empty; I had to turn on the lights myself, and after a while a guy opened the doors and turned on the lights one by one. I asked if they could add a pillow for my 5‑year‑old since there’s no breakfast and he sleeps with us on the double bed, but they didn’t, and I ended up paying more than I would for a better Campos do Jordão lodge that does offer breakfast.

The double bed was comfy, the room was clean with good sheets and towels, and the location was great with a nice view from the window. The room comes with a remote‑controlled light dimmer, which is pretty handy. However, there weren’t enough blankets for the cold, the common area was dirty and disorganized, and there’s only one bathroom shared among many rooms, like a hostel or dorm. There’s no tap water, so you have to buy bottled water at the shop across the street. There’s no kitchen or breakfast area on site, so you have to leave to eat. There are no staff or luggage help, the rooms are on the upper floor, and you can’t bring people into the common area even though the city is safe and welcoming.

The value for money and proximity to the city center are positives, but the smoke from the neighboring restaurant’s bonfire fills the room with smoke.

The location is great and the access to the area is fine, but the shared bathroom with a carpet near the toilet is always damp and smells like urine, there was no mop to wipe the water, and the bathroom cleaning was neglected; after staying three days it got really bad. The space has little structure and didn’t justify the cost.
