The bed was uncomfortable and hadn't been cleaned properly

The bed was soft. Easy access to North Cascades to hike. Not the most welcoming front desk. Stained towels. Stained bedding. Filthy tub. The floor mat that you step on when you get out of the shower looked like someone cleaned their boots with it. When we asked for a new one it couldn’t be provided because management said housekeeping was gone and she didn’t have access to the closet where supplies are kept. Torn/frayed washcloths. No working wifi. Outlets were loose and 50% not functional which made charging devices challenging. Patio was old and dirty, would not risk standing out there. Took extreme effort to get the patio door to lock which wasn’t safe. They didn’t have tissues or coffee (out of stock the whole stay). It was truly embarrassing that I booked it for mine and my sister’s trip because it was in the most terrible old outdated condition of any place I’ve ever stayed. A/c worked fine enough but was extremely loud and who knows the last time filters were changed. We stayed here to hike North Cascades during the holiday break. The view from our room faced the pool and housing/apartments that had junk all over their patios which looked like a questionable housing area to be near. The location of the town is good but even if they dropped the price to stay here I would highly advise against it

The receptionist was friendly, but the place looked old and tired, had no internet, the pool was closed, and the room seemed clean except the door between units was damaged. It really needs a refresh—rooms at least in pain might help.

I asked for a quiet room and instead got a first‑floor room right on the highway; the night clerk basically said “oh, sorry, don’t know how this happened…oh well it should be okay…thanks.” The day clerk was nice and asked how our stay was, but I didn’t have the heart to tell her the people above us were noisy and trucks started rolling at 4 am. I got some sleep. For the price it was okay. I just wish someone had tried to give me a quiet room or even acted like they cared that they didn’t.

The location was great for an early start to hike in the North Cascades, but there was no Wi‑Fi.
