The hotel sits on the edge of Medan, with parking right in front of the building and a quiet setting. The rooms were fine. Breakfast was missing some items – we expected rolls, fruit cups, yogurt, jam, a pastry or a waffle, but there was no cheese or a no‑caffeine coffee (I asked for it on the first day and it wasn’t available).

The location is great, both peaceful and close to all shops. The hosts were very welcoming and we had a fantastic stay; this is our second time booking here. The breakfast was especially generous and tasty. We’ll come back.

The lady who runs the place is very kind, and the accommodation is beautiful and clean with parking in a garden behind a fence, which is a big plus for a seasoned traveler. The village is lovely, but if you arrive off‑season and on a Monday, everything is closed and you can’t get dinner anywhere, so you’ll need to bring food or arrive well fed.

The room was spacious, pleasant and very clean; the breakfast was plentiful and delicious; it’s a 30‑minute walk to Villennes‑sur‑Seine station and a 15‑minute walk to Maison Emile Zola.
