The building was impeccably renovated and decorated, keeping its character while feeling clean and modern; the guest lounge was a highlight, though the surveillance cameras felt a bit off‑putting. Checking in and out via a key box felt impersonal, and we only met the cleaner on the way out; parking in the side yard was cramped, so we parked on the street instead.

The location was spot‑on, but the sloping ceiling over one side of the bed was a real nuisance. I’m only 176 cm, so I had to duck to avoid bumping into it, and I ended up hitting my head on it in the morning when I was half‑asleep—definitely not a great start to the day.
