The location was good, the host lovely, and the bed comfortable. The shower was a bit tight to get into, but it was powerful, so overall it was fine.

The rooms were spotless, the decor lovely, the bedding comfortable and the bed smelled nice; towels were clean and everything was well arranged. Christine, with Stacey’s help, did a fantastic job—she was lovely, and even though her partner wasn’t well, she managed a bloody good job under the circumstances. Christine also assisted with car parking, which was helpful because I didn’t want to park too far away. The hotel was close to the promenade, very quiet, and we slept well. The only issue was that there was no hand wash or hand soap in the bathroom, so I brought my own shower gel. There wasn’t enough sugar or milk for the complimentary drinks in the room.

The location, cleanliness, and staff were all good. The surrounding area is a bit rundown, but that’s not the hotel’s fault.

I had a fantastic experience staying at The Benson Hotel; the host went above and beyond to make me feel welcome with their friendly hospitality, the accommodations were exceptionally clean, cozy, and comfortable, and I look forward to staying here again!
