The hotel sits in a convenient spot near the metro, making it easy to get around Cairo, and the room was clean and comfortable, so it’s a solid choice for a night’s rest. However, the building itself is in rough shape; the hostel clearly says the building is managed separately, but future guests should know the common areas aren’t very clean and the elevator often fails—especially on a ten‑storey building, which can be a hassle. The street outside is noisy with constant honking, a typical Cairo nuisance that’s hard to avoid. Breakfast wasn’t great, but it was sufficient.
