The beach entrance is right at the end of the drive, probably the best value for money accommodation in Golden Bay! However, you can’t lock the door from the inside when you’re sleeping.

The property sits close to a very cute beach and the beginning of the park; the hosts were very accommodating and helpful with suggestions and bookings. It’s more of an experience than just a room to sleep in, and the stargazing was the best in years. The only surprise was that the place is up a hill even though it’s a boat—don’t expect to be near water.
