The interior felt like an “old school club” with plenty of wood coffered ceilings and comfortable amenities. The staff were exceptionally helpful, kind, and always ready to assist. Valet parking works great—you just drop off the car and they take care of it, which is especially useful when traveling with a large group and small children.

The hotel has high quality, with nothing much to criticize. The bed we had sagged in the middle, so it wasn’t very good.

The terrace room was amazing, and the location is perfectly central for Portland. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and oddly enough nothing was annoying or seemed illogically set up. The only minor complaint is that the chairs could use new upholstery.

The hotel is lovely in central Portland, has a great vibe, and the room was lovely.

The historic building is beautiful. My room had high ceilings, a fireplace, and real furniture instead of the usual chain hotel stuff. The pillows were great and the bed was comfortable. I liked almost everything; the only downside was waiting 30 minutes for the room to be ready, but that wasn’t a big deal.
