The cabin sits in a secluded spot just outside a small local village with beautiful jungle views; I loved that it was away from the busy tourist area, making it a perfect escape from city life. A coffee shop is right outside the premises, and I had beautifully made barista coffee every morning. Erik, who looked after me, was very attentive and helpful – he arranged my transport, car rides, and scooter hire, and he was also a good cook, so I’m glad I chose a breakfast‑included package. The cabin has a nice little terrace/balcony area, but I wish it had outdoor furniture to lie down and chill outside; I understand it rains often, but some waterproof bean bags, mats, or other outdoor furniture would have been just perfect.

The surroundings, both the jungle around the cabin and the countryside in the area, are great. Without a car, nothing is easily accessible, and the cabin is very humid.

The place is perfect for connecting with nature, surrounded by lush greenery and waking up to birds chirping. The staff are friendly, and everything is new and well‑maintained.
