The Canterbury International Hotel boasts an outdoor pool, fitness centre, and restaurant. Located in Forest Hill, it's 10 minutes' walk from Blackburn Lake Sanctuary and 10 minutes' drive from Box Hill Town Hall. Spacious rooms feature flat-screen TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi, refrigerators, and desks. A kitchenette, laundry facilities, and spa bath are available in select apartments. Breakfast is served in the Atrium Cafe.

The Canterbury sits near a shopping centre, the room is spacious with a very comfortable bed, and the Executive Queen room was very quiet facing the inner courtyard with no traffic noise; staff were friendly and helpful, making for a comfortable stay if you’re visiting the Eastern suburbs. However, more maintenance is needed: my room had a broken lamp and chair, the carpet around the edges could be vacuumed better, and the shower needs deeper cleaning.
