The quirky vibe of the hotel was a hit for us, especially on our third visit, though the room and the space for our friends felt a little snug.

Everything was perfect, nothing to complain about.

The location of the hotel was good, but the room and bathroom felt quite compact and missing basic amenities like a bathrobe and complimentary water, which you’d expect at that price; also, the no‑show policy for guests whose flights are cancelled seems too rigid and could use more flexibility.

The hotel was very appealing because it’s easy to reach from Gare de Lyon (next door), the rooms were spotless with a nice view from the 19th floor, and the staff were helpful and straightforward; getting to the metro is effortless, letting you head into the city. The rooms are just the right size, but compromises are made, such as having the bathroom in the room with only a milk‑glass door as a divider; it wasn’t a problem, but it’s something to be aware of.
