After a long interstate trip I stayed overnight at the Crowne Plaza. The Chromecast on our TV wasn’t working, so the staff moved us to a corner‑view room—nice gesture, but the Chromecast still failed, and they offered us a complimentary breakfast. The service was friendly, the room was spotless, and overall it was good value.

The spot is spot on, rooms are huge and tastefully decorated, staff are super helpful, and there's a cute little café right at the entrance for a morning coffee. The bathroom is spacious and the shower is fantastic. The parking spaces are cramped, and although we booked a king‑size bed, we ended up with two double beds and had to split up.

Breakfast was solid with plenty of options. However, if you have food allergies, the catered event food fell short: anyone with an allergy got a half‑baked cauliflower topped with spices that was so hot it left my lips, tongue, and throat blistered. The main meal was chicken, but I wasn’t offered it because I’m allergic to all seafood.

The location is great, service is solid, and everyone is friendly. My room faced the lifts, so the constant noise bothered me since I’m a light sleeper.

The room was roomy but not overly large, everything worked perfectly, and I’ve been in Adelaide a lot lately for my son’s treatment, so it’s good to see the Crowne has reliable heating and cooling. Room service was fast and tasty, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff were professional and well‑informed.
