“Hum not the best but not the worst”

The hotel sits right in the center, but the mattress feels like a wooden plank and is uncomfortable.

“Simple hostel in good location. But there’s cameras in the female dorm!”

The staff were fantastic; we arrived late by bus, checked in smoothly, and could pay the next day even without cash. The same courteous service repeated the following morning. The dorm had nice shelves by the bed for valuables and two toilets and showers. However, the bathrooms were old, limescale‑laden, and made me uncomfortable. Despite this, I would still rate the hostel an 8 for the price, friendly staff, and large cabins. After staying one night in the female dorm, I discovered a camera filming the entire room and beds—if curtains were closed it was fine, but I had not undressed that night. No cameras should be in a female dorm without warning signs, and I hope all guests notice this before changing. This is a total NO‑GO; it felt invasive and creepy.

“便利な立地”

The same street hosts massage parlors, restaurants, nail salons, and laundromats, making it convenient; walking to Hanoi Cathedral takes about 5 minutes. At check‑in I had to pay a towel and key deposit, and at check‑out the amount was deducted from my room charge and returned, which confused me because I didn’t know about it.

“perfect”

Breakfast was included and very nice—coffee, fruit, scrambled eggs, sausage, etc. My bed area was spacious, well organized, with a nice curtain, electric socket, light, fan, and enough room for a bag and personal items. Everything else was fine; the only issue was the restrooms on my floor—when you sit on the toilet there isn’t much space around you, so it feels cramped, but that’s all.

I liked the high‑quality breakfast. There’s a 20‑liter water bottle available for free at the counter. The location is in the city center, very close to the Big Church and Hoàn Kiếm Lake.
